Fall in New York is a wonderful season, during which trees all around the city wear beautiful yellow, orange and red colors. One of the best spots to admire this unique scenery is Central Park. Visit by foot, bike, pedicab or even with a horse carriage if you are in a more romantic mood!

Another option is to leave town and go upstate explore the Hudson Valley and its matchless views. Join the Bear Mountain cruise for a one-day journey that’ll take you to the famous Mountain while you admire the beautiful foliage all along. There, you’ll even have 2 hours to go for a walk and celebrate Oktoberfest !

This is one of the most prestigious events of the year in New York. Bibs are booked well in advance and the best locations to watch the race are often occupied well before the departure of the race.

Feel free to come and cheer the runners along the route (view the map here). You might even catch a glimpse of one of the many celebrities who run the marathon every year!
